Creating & Scheduling Social Posts
The Social Hub allows you to create and schedule social media posts to promote your blog content across multiple platforms from a single dashboard. You can craft posts with text and images, schedule them for the perfect time, and manage your publishing history.
Creating a New Post
To create a new social post, navigate to the Social Hub from your main dashboard and click the "Create Post" button.

You will be taken to the post composer, which has the following sections:
- Content: Write your post copy in the main text area. You can use hashtags and emojis.
- Media: Attach images from your Media Library.
- Platforms: Select the social accounts where you want this post to publish.
- Scheduling: Choose when to publish.
Adding Text and Media
Craft your message in the content editor. To add an image, click the "Add Media" button. This opens your Media Library, where you can select from previously uploaded images.
You can upload images to your Media Library in advance from the main Media Library section. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, and GIF.
Selecting Target Platforms
In the "Platforms" section, you will see a list of all the social media accounts you have connected to iContentForge (e.g., Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Facebook Pages). Select the checkboxes next to each account where you want this post to appear.
Platform-specific character limits or media rules are not automatically enforced in the composer. Ensure your post complies with the requirements of each selected platform (e.g., Twitter's character limit) to avoid publication errors.
Scheduling Your Post
You have two options for when your post goes live:
- Publish Immediately: Select this option to send the post to the selected platforms as soon as you click "Publish".
- Schedule for Later: Choose a specific date and time in the future. The post will be queued and published automatically at that time.

Once you've configured your post, you have two choices:
- Save Draft: Click "Save Draft" to store the post without publishing it. You can return to edit and schedule it later from your drafts list.
- Publish / Schedule: Click "Publish" (for immediate) or "Schedule" (for later) to send the post to the queue. A scheduled post will move to the "Scheduled" tab.
Managing Posts & Viewing History
The Social Hub provides tabs to manage your posts through their lifecycle:
| Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| Drafts | Posts you have saved but not yet scheduled for publishing. You can edit or schedule them from here. |
| Scheduled | Posts queued for future publication. You can view their scheduled time or cancel them. |
| Published | A complete history of all posts that have been successfully sent to your social platforms. |
| Errors | Posts that failed to publish, along with the error reason for troubleshooting. |
To view details or history, simply click on any post in the list.
The publishing process for scheduled posts is handled by our Drip Feed system, which processes queued tasks approximately every 5 minutes, ensuring reliable, timely delivery without complex infrastructure dependencies.
