Publish Hub
The Publish Hub is the central command center for managing all your article publishing activities across every iContentForge project. It provides a unified view of your publishing queue, history, and statuses, allowing you to oversee and control the final step of your content automation workflow.
From this dashboard, you can monitor the flow of articles from "ready" to "published," troubleshoot failures, and perform bulk actions without needing to navigate into individual projects.

Accessing the Publish Hub
You can access the Publish Hub from the main navigation sidebar in your iContentForge dashboard. Click on Publishing and then select Publish Hub.
Only users with Admin or Editor roles for an organization or project can view and manage articles in the Publish Hub. Contributors can only see articles from projects they have access to.
Understanding the Publishing Queue
The main table in the Publish Hub lists all articles that are in a publishable state or have attempted publishing. You can see the following information for each article:
- Article Title: The title of the generated article.
- Project: The source project.
- Target CMS: The connected CMS where the article is destined to be published (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
- Status: The current publishing status.
- Scheduled For: The date and time the article is set to be published (if using Drip Feed).
- Actions: Available manual actions (e.g., Publish Now, Retry).
Article Publishing Statuses
Articles in the Publish Hub can have one of the following statuses:
| Status | Description | Action Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Ready | Article generation is complete, and it is waiting in the queue to be published. | No. It will be published automatically by the Drip Feed scheduler or can be published manually. |
| Scheduled | The article has a specific future date/time set for publishing via Drip Feed. | No. It will publish automatically at the scheduled time. |
| Queued | The article is in the active publishing queue and will be processed shortly (typically every ~5 minutes). | No. |
| Generating | (Less common in Publish Hub) The article is still being generated by AI and is not yet ready for publishing. | No. |
| Published | The article has been successfully posted to the target CMS. | No. A link to the live article is often provided. |
| Error | The publishing attempt failed. Hover over or click the status to see detailed error logs. | Yes. Review the error and use the "Retry" action. |
Core Features & Actions
Filtering and Searching
Use the filters at the top of the Publish Hub to narrow down the view:
- By Project: View articles from a single specific project.
- By Status: Show only articles with a certain status (e.g., only "Error" to troubleshoot).
- By CMS: Filter articles based on their target publishing platform.
- Search: Find articles by their title or keyword.
Manual and Bulk Publishing
You are not required to wait for the Drip Feed scheduler.
- Publish a Single Article: Click the "Publish Now" button in the Actions column for any article with a "Ready" status. This bypasses the schedule and sends it immediately.
- Bulk Publish: Select multiple articles using the checkboxes on the left, then click the "Publish Selected" button in the table header. This is useful for launching a series of articles at once.
Use bulk publishing to quickly populate a new blog section or to publish a cluster of related articles (like a content silo) simultaneously for a stronger initial SEO impact.
Managing Scheduled Articles (Drip Feed)
Articles scheduled via a project's Drip Feed settings will appear here with a "Scheduled" status.
- View Schedule: See the exact date and time an article is set to go live.
- Unschedule: To publish a scheduled article immediately, you can click "Publish Now." This will remove it from the scheduled queue and publish it right away.
Handling Failed Publications
When an article's status is "Error," it is crucial to diagnose the issue.
- Click on the "Error" status badge or the "View Logs" action. A panel will open showing the detailed error message from the CMS connector (e.g., "Invalid API Key," "Category Not Found").
- Fix the root cause in your project's CMS settings or target website.
- Click the "Retry" action to re-attempt publishing the article with the same content and settings.
Common causes for publishing errors include expired CMS API tokens, incorrect post categories/tags, or server timeouts on your target website. Always check the error log first.
Viewing Publishing History
The Publish Hub table inherently serves as a complete publishing history log. Use the Status filter and select "Published" to see all successfully posted articles. You can see the exact publication timestamp and, where supported by the CMS, a direct link to the live post.
