Usage Quota & Limits
Your iContentForge subscription includes a monthly quota for generating articles. This page explains how your quota is calculated, when it resets, what happens if you exceed it, and how to monitor and manage your usage.
How Your Quota is Calculated
Your monthly article generation quota is determined by your active subscription plan. Quota is consumed whenever you successfully generate an article within any project in your workspace.
Key Rule: Quota is pooled across all projects in your workspace. Generating an article in "Project A" consumes from the same quota pool as generating an article in "Project B."
Dashboard showing quota usage across projects
Quota by Plan
| Plan | Monthly Article Quota | Additional Features |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 10 articles | Single project, basic CMS connectors |
| Pro | 250 articles | Multiple projects, all CMS connectors, Silo Radar |
| Agency | Unlimited | Unlimited projects, team members, priority support |
Quota is only consumed for articles that reach the "ready" status. Articles that fail during generation (status: "error") do not count against your limit.
Quota Reset Cycle
Your generation quota resets on your monthly billing date. This date is set when you first subscribe and recurs every 30 days.
For example, if you upgraded to the Pro plan on March 15th, your 250-article quota will reset on April 15th, May 15th, and so on.
You can find your next reset date in two places:
- Billing Page: Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Usage Dashboard: The main project dashboard displays a usage meter with the reset date.
What Happens If You Exceed Your Quota
If you reach your monthly quota limit, iContentForge will pause all article generation tasks across your workspace.
- Generation: The "Generate Articles" button will be disabled. Any articles in the "queued" or "generating" state will pause.
- Existing Content: All articles already in "ready" or "published" status are unaffected. You can still edit, schedule, and publish them.
- Drip Feed: Scheduled publishing via Drip Feed will continue for articles that are already in "ready" status.
- Project Creation: You can still create new projects and manage settings.
Service resumes automatically at the start of your next billing cycle when your quota is refreshed. To resume generation immediately, you must purchase additional quota (see below).
Exceeding your quota only blocks new article generation. All other platform features—like connecting CMSs, using Silo Radar, or managing existing content—remain fully active.
Monitoring Your Quota Usage
It's easy to keep track of your consumption. Your main workspace dashboard features a usage meter at the top.

For a more detailed breakdown:
- Go to Settings > Billing.
- Scroll to the "Usage This Month" section. This table shows your total usage and the breakdown of articles generated per project.
Purchasing Additional Quota (Add-ons)
If you need more articles before your next billing cycle, you can purchase one-time quota add-ons.
- Navigate to Settings > Billing.
- Click the "Purchase Add-ons" button.
- Select the add-on pack that fits your needs (e.g., "50 Additional Articles").
- Complete the checkout process. The new quota is added to your pool immediately, and you can resume generating articles.
Add-on quota expires at the end of your current billing cycle. It does not roll over. For consistently higher volume, consider upgrading your subscription plan.
